cruise cruise cruise Posted January 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2010 I have 2 questions today... How much is a session of bingo? I assume kids are not allowed to play, but are they allowed in the bingo lounge while mom and dad play? Can I order a pitcher of apple juice to be delivered for breakfast? Just planning ahead for the rest of the day for the kids to have some juice available mid day when wanting some. Just thought of another question, where are the kids not allowed? I know in the adults only pool area (but does that include the actual pool also?) The casino- I believe they are allowd to walk through, just not stop and obviously not play. I have read mention of an adults only aft pool- we will be on the Golden to Alaska, is the aft pool adults only? And what about the cocktail lounges, Vines, etc? thanks everyone. This will be my 4th cruise (2nd with princess but first was 20 years ago---OH MY) and first cruise taking the kids
Toto2Kansas Posted January 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2010 I can answer your breakfast question. Juice is complimentary with breakfast, but it comes in very small glasses. If you wish to order a pitcher of Apple Juice, I would shudder at the price you would be charged for it. You can order several glasses from room service to be delivered for breakfast, but after that time, there is a charge even for the small glasses. If I were you, I would bring on a quart or two in your carry on for your use during the day, either that or you will be charged. ;)
paul929207 Posted January 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2010 You can get the larger glasses at the buffet and fill them with apple juice. Kids can not play bingo, but can be present. Night club, I think age 18 or older after midnight or so. Sorry, no bingo player.
notentirelynormal Posted January 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 22, 2010 Actually kids CAN play Bingo. They just can't win (collect). An adult must do that. If you order the ultimate card for drinks, that includes apple juice. That was one of the reasons I bought it for my GS. The other was the hot chocolate. Bingo is $20 for a 3 pack regular session - $30 with the bonus card. I think its $10 less for a single card.
BOShappytraveler Posted January 22, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2010 I played a couple of rounds of Bingo on my last cruise. The previous poster got it right. They don't bar kids from going to the BINGO games, but only the ADULTS can collect the winnings. They would announce and remind folks about it at the beginning. The best deal is the $20 for a 3 pack regular session. And I can confirm that it is $10 for a 1 single pack.

The adult only aft pool area includes the pool. This is the Terrace Pool at the aft end of Aloha deck. There is the Splash Pool on deck 16 by the children's area that is specifically for them. caribill Posted January 22, 2010 #7 Share Posted January 22, 2010 There is the Splash Pool on deck 16 by the children's area that is specifically for them. This pool only exists on some of the ships.
