Need info re dialysis while on a cruise

We have a friend who receives dialysis three times a week. She would like to accompany us on a cruise and, of course, will need to continue her dialysis treatment while onboard. I would appreciate any experience or information regarding this. Based on the research I've done, Holland America might be our best choice.

 

Any thoughts or information will be appreciated.

Dialysis is normally not available on a cruise ship. In the past I've seen Dialysis at Sea cruises advertised. These cruises have doctors and nurses onboard that provide treatment to patients. Of course you pay a premium for this special medical treatment.

They have been organizing several cruises per year , on various cruise lines , for many years.

 

Unfortunatly , you will have to limit your choices to the ship/sailing that

are offered by DAS.
