cruisinsince99 Posted January 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Yes to Coke card. No to 2 for 1s. Yes to drink of the days... make sure to tell them NOT in the souvenir glass, that will save you some $$ There are wine packages that can save $$ too. No to coffee cards, but regular coffee is included.
mustlovecruising Posted January 30, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Thanks for the help. Do you know how much the coke card costs?
cruisinsince99 Posted January 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Sadly I do not. I'm sure another CCer will pop in with that info shortly. I recall it being pretty reasonable. I am a Pepsi person - so steer clear of the Coke card. :)
ehfl Posted January 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Thanks for the help. Do you know how much the coke card costs? You can purchase your coke card online at the RCL website before you cruise. The price is listed there. You can also get pricing on wine packages and other things you can purchase. time4me2fly Posted January 30, 2010 #8 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Coke package is $48.30 for a 7-night cruise. Price includes the 15% gratuity. It's only worth purchasing if you drink 3 or more Cokes per day, every day. It's fountain drink, not can of Coke. A can of Coke cost $2.24. time4me2fly Posted January 30, 2010 #9 Share Posted January 30, 2010 There's a self serve station at the Café Promenade that has Seattle's Best coffee. They also have croissant sandwiches, cookies and cake at no extra charge.
birdylady Posted January 30, 2010 #10 Share Posted January 30, 2010 If you choose to purchase the coke card onboard, you can ONLY purchase the day of sailing. When you purchase the coke card, they give you travel mug (nice, but you do not need it to get soda, we just put ours in the room) and a sticker for your pass. Then whenever you want a soda, just show your card. Personally, I think it's well worth it. You can get a soda at ANY location that has sodas. Enjoy Royal. I know we do.
