Cancelling an excursion

My fiacee and I are getting married aboard Golden Princess in June. I was wondering if anyone could explain what the policy is about canceling a reservation for an excursion if we decide we'd rather do something else instead?

And make sure you take a good look at the excursion list to ensure yours isn't one of the ones that need more advance notice for cancelling. I've seen some that need to be cancelled very early to avoid penalty.

As long as you want to cancel before the deadline (there will be card with the excursion tickets listing the deadline for each port), you do not have to wait in what could be a long line at the Shore Excursion desk. You can write cancel on the tickets and drop them in the box at the shore excursion desk for this purpose.

As mentioned, some cannot be cancelled, but these are few and are usually special ones such as an excursion from the tip of South America on a flight to Antarctica. The typical "see a city's attractions" excursion does not have a no-cancel allowed policy.
