Carnival Glory (Eastern Caribbean) in May 2010: We really enjoyed Jimmy and Arturo, both on the Lido deck, and spent time talking with and getting to know them. I will say that all of our bartenders on Glory were great.

 

Carnival Miracle in March 2006: the two gals in the Casino bar, Tootie (sp?) and the other gal who could pass for Tootie's sister and the one guy (forget his name - loved him though) on the Lido deck.

Jai the late night sports bar bartender on the Glory was magnificent.:D

 

Jai is one of our favorites too...we have sailed with him several times on the Glory.......and we get emails from him occasionally.......Also Eric, he was on the Glory, but now he's on the Conquest, I saw him there (Lido Bar midship port) last Feb and sister just got an IM from him on facebook that he will be on the ship when we get there in 22 days.

Also, Catherine Cruz (she makes the best martini's ever) I've sailed with her several times.

Our favorites are Stella (atrium bar) and her husband Romeo from the Splendor and the Dream. They just retired in May. We'll miss them.

I see that several people have already voted for Aggus. We met him on the Legend last fall. Then, ran into him again on the Splendor in March of this year! He is awesome - always smiling, happy, and busy, busy, busy!

We just got off the Ecstasy and handsdown, our votes are for:

 

Joe Joe at the pool bar - Not only did he remember our names and already know what we wanted as soon as we got to the pool, but one afternoon we decided to go relax on the side of the ship a couple decks up. He checked on us with fresh drinks every 15 - 20 mins and when my mom wandered out to the pool looking for us, he told her where we were.

 

Andi, our room steward was also awesome. He made sure my mom was always comfortable and had everything she needed. She had to take a lot of naps which didn't leave much time for him to get his business done but he was very understanding and always seemed to be around to get in there as soon as he could. We had white boards on our doors and he left us notes every day and even gave us a hug and said he would miss us on our last day.

 

Both really sweet guys. :)

We just got Yhe Glory last Monday and we elect:

Sayad & Valentina at the casino bar and Ni in the Blue Bar, all the drink servers on the lido deck were fantastic also.:) I can't forget Katherine from The Glory (Casino Bar)on our cruise in June. We found out she is now on another ship.

Head Waiter Rudolfo from Ecuador on Ecstasy, January 2009, will forever be the standard by which all others will be measured. He was awesome, and we still talk about the most excellent service he presented each evening.

Yes...Zoran is great...he was on the Ecstasy in October of 2009. Loved him!
