philnpen Posted February 23, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2010 One thread said the Mercury was making people sick. I very much doubt that. How can the ship make people sick? It should read the either fellow passengers, or maybe even some crew members were making people sick. But a ship making people sick?

Happy Cruiser 6143 Posted February 23, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2010 There are some news stories about this. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35538104/ns/travel-news/ That's about the level of "news" coverage one expects these days. Don't bother with the facts or understand the issue. Just do fearmongering reporting.

On the bad virus Mercury cruise we took two years ago the crew were throwing what appeared to be lots of waterline/piping overboard one night. Wonder if it was in thier system.
