What's in the mini-bar?

I know there is soda and bottled water, but what about the good stuff? Beer? Liquor?

We just got off the Liberty of the seas and the minibar had soda, water, red bull, snickers, M&M's and Oreo cookies. ( the snacks were $5.95 each and they still add 15% gratuity to the price)

I just got off Brilliance on the 1st of March and I dont think there was alcohol in there. I just remember seeing Red bulls sodas and water and some peanuts.

No alcohol, just sodas, water and few snacks and all come with a very high price tag. I don't know the reason RC is still trying to sell a can of soda for $3. They can't be selling much of the stuff, so why bother? Either lower the price or just leave the fridge empty.

 

We had the room attendant remove all the stuff and filled it up with our own sodas and water.

Well, I was under the impression that the prices from the minibar were the same is if you went to the bar to get these things. Is this not the case?

No booze last week on the brilliance. Soda $1.95, little boxes of cookies $3.95 Red bull $3.95, small bottles of water similar price. All plus 15% But the ice in the bucket was free:D

so I was little off, but @$2.00 a can is still a stretch. We brought an six/eight pack(?) (little cans) of coke and sprite @$4.00 TOTAL.

$3.95 isn't a stretch for a can of RedBull though...they're easily $2.50 by me

Okay, fine. But my point is, they're not charging a premium for having it there in the mini bar. In other words, if I'm sitting in my room and I want a coke, I can grab that one and it's no more expensive than trekking down to a bar.

The soda in the mini-bar is the same price as elsewhere on the ship.

does every room have a mini-bar including the inside cabins? if so, is there a way to have it locked to kids can't get into it?

It depends on the ship you are sailing on if an inside has a mini-bar.

 

On the ships I´ve sailed on the mini-bars had no locks.

How can they call it a mini-bar if there is no booze???
