angel 77 : I believe that you want to post this in the Florida departures thread:

But to answer your question - If I recall correctly - I don't believe that Thrifty has a shuttle at MIA airport. I believe however that NationalCar/Alamo has an offsite (non-airport) location where they will shuttle you to the port.

hope that helps

I too am interested in this. i DO believe i read on here a while back, that Alamo and Thrifty had shuttle service. I believe they share a rental station. I have checked with Enterprise and national so far, and they do NOT have shuttle service to the port. Hope this helps.

We used Dollar last time we picked up at Fll and returned to Mia. They had a shuttle to the port & we got a really good rate from a code we found online. I'd check them out & see if you can find a code, but even without a code, their rates were cheaper.

Avis, Hertz and Enterprise have downtown locations near POM; if they will not shuttle you, a cab to POM should be under $10. A cab from MIA area rental facilities will be between $25-30:eek: Good luck!:)

We are leaving our car at ALAMO MIA the night before we cruise and we were told there was a free shuttle to the port.

On the way back we are hiring the car from ALAMO POM, but not sure how close it is to the ship.
