Tracy arm vs Glacier Bay (scenic cruising)

If you want to see glaciers - Glacier Bay. You might not see any if your ship runs into a lot of ice in Tracy Arm.

I've heard that time and again here. Don't know if I'll ever have time to go back, so we chose Glacier Bay.

I have been to all the cruiseship sailing areas, there isn't any "bests". :) IF you want to sail by glaciers, then your choice is going to be Glacier Bay. IF you can get on the Princess add on Tracy Arm boat tour (a "must" in my opinion) this is a fantastic sailing, and you do get a good deal of glacier time. BUT if you aren't going to pay about the extra $200 pp, this still is scenic sailing, you just are not going to see as much.

You might want to look at the whole package? Ports, time in ports, price etc etc
