Difference in "class" of ships, such as Spirit, etc

I have seen posts about "Spirit class" of ships. What is the difference in the "class? Is it size, amenities, cost? We will be going on the Dream, could you tell me what class that is? Thanks!

It is mostly about size and layout, while some amenities very between classes as well. So i guess all of the above is your best answer.

 

The Dream is the first of the Dream class ship. So far there will be two the Dream and the Magic (still under consrtuction)
