Dream Safe Question

Does anyone know if the safes open & lock with a magnetic card still or are the ones on the Dream using a four number code like some are doing? Also can I use double sided tape to put up door decorations?

Enter any sequence of 4 digits, press lock with the door closed and it's done!!!

I have used double-sided tap on many occasions to hang our door decorations. I was even able to get a foot of tape from the Purser's Desk when I ran out once.

That reminds me of the CD telling the story of a drunk passenger calling the guest services desk telling them their microwave wasn't working and they took a look at it and found a piece of pizza in the safe. Is this story required by all CD's? They all seem to tell it at some point.
