windjammer question

do they serve anything in the windjammer between lunch and dinner..some kind of afternoon snack? if they do ..do you know what? and the times it is available?

They serve cakes, cookies etc during the afternoon. Don't recall if there's a specific time though.

I think it was 3-5pm on IOS last month, but it may be different for each sailing depending on itenerary.

We've always had fruit, cookies...stuff like that sitting out in between mealtimes, along with the drink station.

On our last mariner cruise, I remember their being a nachos snack bar, with tortilla chips, salsa, and various fixings.

On both Radiance and Adventure "snack time" there were your usual fruits and stuff but there were nachos (as someone said), pizzza, burgers, fries and whatnot. It was more lunch than snack time on those two cruises.

They sometimes have things like cherry cobbler, bread pudding, apple crisp, etc. with whipped cream along side.

we usually don't eat in port so are hungry when we return. You can always find something. Check the promenade, sandwiches, cookies, pizza, windjammer, room service. You won't go hungry. We like to order fresh veggies from room service to enjoy while we get ready for dinner.

There is heaps more in the Windjammer in the afternoons than cake and cookies. There are sandwiches and savoury items as well.

The Windjammer only shuts down for approx. 30 minutes between each 'course'. You can check the daily compass when you get on the ship to ascertain what time the Windjammer is open for the afternoon selections. In the mid-afternoon on recent Med sailings there was a large variety, with many healthy choices, desserts, etc. You never have to wait too long to get something to eat on a RCCL ship! If your ship has the Seaview Cafe, it may be open with some great choices as well. I suggest you try it if it is on your ship. It is a little difficult to get to, but worth the effort.
