39august Posted March 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2010 I wasn't looking for a price drop but just messing with RCI's new booking site to see how many D1 cabins it showed for my April 10, 2011 Voyager cruise. Lo and behold, the rate on this cruise which I booked 6 days ago had dropped over $80 pp. I have gotten rate drops many months ahead, but not THIS far ahead! I had just told my husband that I believe the really low fares we have gotten the past 2.5 years are a thing of the past. But, maybe not!
kleo30 Posted March 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2010 That is awesome for you! I am wondering, how do you check for a price drop? Do you check the reservation availability for your cabin category?
cruisenfever Posted March 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2010 That is awesome for you! I am wondering, how do you check for a price drop? Do you check the reservation availability for your cabin category? Yes, do a dummy booking and remember to check all the boxes before you continue.:D When a price drop occurs, you have to ask for it............they just don't adjust your cruise fare to reflect the dicsount. You can ask for as many price drops as you qualify for.:)
