Canada/New England in APRIL. Too Cold?

Recommended Posts

I'm considering booking the 4/24/10 sailing on the Costa Atlantica, which goes from Quebec City to New York. I love the itinerary but worry that we will be FREEZING the entire 11 days! Checking the weather forecasts, it doesn't look like it will be warmer than 50F at any stop (50F if we're lucky!) I've never been to any of the destinations. I really want to take this cruise! Would you recommend waiting or do you think it will be fun, despite the cold?

Thanks everyone! :)

It will probably be cold but it could be very warm. It was 80 in Maine yesterday for example. It could also be colder then 50, we could still conceivably get snow, it has happened before.

I am planning a June wedding and planning for cold temps and warm ones you just never know around here.

LambAroud asked: Canada/New England in APRIL. Too Cold?

So I'm asking LambAround, to cold for what?

laying around the outside pool in your bikini/speedo , yes. too cold.

The last few days in the interior of CT. the temperature has been in high 70's to low 80's off morning lows in the 50's.

New England is not as cold as you have been led to believe.
