Perfect Stranger Posted April 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2010 If there's only two of you and you don't need the two uppers, is there any disadvantage to booking this type of room? Are those upper beds completely out of the way?

Are those upper beds completely out of the way? They are usually up in the ceiling and you won't know their there..

JJ2sail Posted April 3, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Actually it depends on the ship. The newer ships, they are up in the ceiling and you won't see them. On older ships, they are hanging on the side walls and just are folded up, so you will see them, and they may make the room feel smaller.
