prices change question

Hello everyone I am a first time cruiser sailing on October 16th and from reading through the cruise critic I learned about how you can get obc if the price drops on your cruise. I looked on Carnival and for my cruise on same day same category the price has droped but the deck is different. I am on deck 7 with category 8c, the price drop is for deck 8 category 8c so can I file for an obc or not? I can not find deck 7 available anymore. So I guess I'm just confused about what exactly has to match. Thank you :)

Are you before or after final payment?? Did you book early saver rate?

 

If so then yes, it doesnt matter where the 8C is located (is there only one left, you got lucky), file quick for it. I would also note the time and date when you saw it if there is only one left.

If you are ES and you haven't paid in full, you will get a fare reduction, not OBC. Once you have paid in full, they will give you OBC instead.

File it now - if it keeps going down, you can file again, if it goes up, you have a chance of missing it.

Go on the Carnival website and click under specials. There is a link to fill out the form. :)

If you booked thru a travel agent, then the agent has to fill out the form and submit it. If you booked directly with Carnival, then you can fill out the form on the Carnival website.
