How early can we board?

I would suggest, if you are flying in a day early, stay at the hotel till 11am check out, then head to the port. I just got back from a cruise 3/25-4/5 an RCCL and our hotel had a shuttle (we left Miami) to the port, they did not start running it until noon. We were on the ship by 1 and it was a good 25 minute drive due to traffic, the longest line we had to wait in was for the picture. But we also had done a lot of pre-boarding stuff online.

I would plan to get to the port at 11:00am -- you should be having lunch at the buffet by 11:30am. If you've checked in on line and printed out your Xpress document, it should take you about 5-10 minutes to check in.
