Is a small purse a good idea?

I take a small purse. Only because one time I gave my husband my lipstick, he put it in his pocket and melted my lipstick. He got hot.

 

It's a small purse for me now. :rolleyes:

speaking from experience, I always take one evening bag now for formal nights.

for regular evenings, I take a small shoulder bag (dimensions 4" x 9" approx.) for my card, lipstick, camera, etc. I cruised previously with no casual evening bag and found I really missed having one.

I'm taking this bag for evenings and maybe some daytime use too. It has a zipper part that is big enough for my P & S camera and then the flap is also a pocket.
