According to the Cruiss Compass, from Broadway come the hits that made it to Holywood including "Hairspray" and "Chicago." Thanks again to our friends from Michigan for sharing the below photos with us: Rico du Breil (Canada), Cruise Director and MC for this evening show Chicago is a Kander and Ebbmusical set in Prohibition-eraChicago. The music is by John Kander with lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. The story is a satire on corruption in the administration of criminal justice, and the concept of the "celebrity criminal". The musical is based on a 1926 play of the same name by reporter Maurine Dallas Watkins about actual criminals and crimes she had reported on. At 11:15am, there was a COOKING DEMONSTRATION with the Hotel Director and the Captain (Centrum/ Deck 4). They were making a Black Forest Cake and there was fun to watch them! At 1:30pm, there was the recognition of the belly flop! The competitors made a splash by the Poolside (Deck 9) during the BELLY FLOP COMPETITION! The Captain (the new one that came aboard in Aruba on Friday) honored us with his presence (after participating earlier in the day in the Cooking demonstration show). The MC of this event was the CD, Rico du Breil (Canada), assisted by the funny Abel (aka Mr. Bingo). Thanks again, C. and also M. & DW, for sharing the below photos with us.
