More images from the Miss Enchantment of the Seas -

competition that started around 4:00pm on Thursday (April 15, 2010) on Deck 9, Poolside

(right after the ship left behind the port of Santa Marta, Colombia)

It was a lot of fun as you can see below

[started with each lady competitor randomly choosing a male partner from the audience; then, why each lady was singing "O sole miooooooooo!,"

the dude had to jump a rope in the water as long as the lyrics were sustained by the lady]:

Carrie (from Canada) was very disappointed with less than one push-up, so she decided to trade places with her partner

(not much luck this time either, but lots of fun!)

Time for the men to leave the competition, so the ladies were on their own from now on:

If you are a past guest on RCI (and a member of the Crown & Anchor Society), you would have received on your stateroom a private invitation (see it pictured below)

to attend a CROWN & ANCHOR WELCOME BACK CELEBRATION/ PARTY (April 15th 2010):

Crown-Anchor-Party17.jpg

You have the chance to meet past RCI guests, your Loyalty Ambassador (poised, pretty and well spoken Cristiana Maruntelu from Romania),

chat and mingle while having a bite and a complementary glass of champagne (or Punch).

The decorations seemed recycled from the previous night White Party (by the Poolside), but they were ok, serving their purpose.

Also on Thursday evening, after leaving Santa Marta (Colombia), RCI presented Production Headliner Showtime hosted by the CD, Rico, and starring:

This was a pre-dinner show (at 7pm for Second Seating Dining and 9pm for Main Seating Dining; Orpheum Theater/ Deck 5,6).

The music was great, but the man was trying too hard on the comedy sections.

Latinas dancing while the song Macarena played during dinner on Thursday (4/15/2010)

Macarena - is the Spanish song by Los del Río about a woman of the same name.

It was popular between 1995 and 1996, although it continues to have a cult following to this day.

The song's dance remains arguably the most popular out of any club single ever.[citation needed]

The song became the second longest running #1[citation needed] and best selling debut single of all time in the U.S.[citation needed] It was ranked the "#1 Greatest One-Hit Wonder of all Time" by VH1 in 2002.

The song uses a type of clave. The song ranks at #5 on Billboard's All Time Top 100. It also ranks at #1 on Billboard's All Time Latin Songs.[1][2]

Quite the review. Thanks for all the time and effort.

My pleasure.

It's actually a team effort as some fellow cruisers shared lots of shots with us. So we thank them again and we appreciate everyone's feedback

(while encouraging others to post their own photos and thoughts about this great cruise.. on this "collective" thread).

The images from the pre-cruise activities (i.e. Miraflores Locks Museum or Panama City tour on your own) and then

the ports of call visited (i.e. Puerto Limon, Cartagena, Santa Marta and Aruba) will be posted on the

appropriate boards (i.e. Ports of Call threads).

On Friday (4/16/2010), Enchantment of the Seas (RCI ship) reached the last port of call on this Repo cruise that started in Colon, Panama -

ORANJESTAD, ARUBA - a beautiful, HOT, HOT day (87F degrees but felt so much higher because it was very humid - 84% humidity).

That Friday (4/16/2010) was bit sad as we became aware that early morning, soon after Princess docked in Aruba (ahead of our EOTS ship), one of the passengers died in a tragic accident (after renting an ATV close to the Pier)...
