Not sure as we didn't have to use those (don't have small children).

However, it is possible that they use them to ID the kids aboard because there was a "Junior Cruisers' Curfew" - meaning "those guests 17 years old or younger who are not accompanied by an adult must be clear of all PUBLIC areas by midnight unless they are participating in organized shipboard activities."

It was a lot of fun as you can see below

[started with carrying a ballon across the Pool; it became somehow interactive as people in the audience started splashing/ touching the competitors]:

I did not notice whether your question was answered..... If you have kids, under a certain age (12? not sure) they get wrist bands for the cruise. In the event there is an emergency and passengers are required to report to the muster stations, your child will be brought to you at the muster station, that is if they are not with you and at a ship's childrens activity, ie. Adventure Ocean.

To the OP... great pics!

They are for the muster station bracelets that all children age 12 and under must wear. It indicates the child's muster station in the event of an emergency. The Adventure Ocean team gives them out on embarkation day and can replace those that get "lost". There are a few threads about the bracelets here and on the family boards.

RCCL requires the kids to be wearing one even if not participating in AO. They will catch you on the gangways when you reboard the ship a ports (that is the voice of experience). My DD is now a teen and does not require a bracelet.

Since the cruise started in Colon, Panama, was it an enrichment cruise? Did they make the announcements in Spanish first, then in English? Did you notice a difference from this cruise, and the cruises that leave from Miami? Thanks! :D

The announcements were first in English and then translated sometimes in Spanish too (or a summary was given in Spanish)... The Captain's speach was bilingual as well... The Cruise Director, Rico du Breil (Canada), presented the shows and other ent. activities in both languages... menus available in both English and Spanish... the newsletter (Compass) was available in both languages etc.

However, the content of some activities was English only (i.e. "Complete the lyrics" - no songs in Spanish were used).

As indicated before, the images from the pre-cruise activities (i.e. Miraflores Locks Museum) and then the ports of call visited (i.e. Puerto Limon, Cartagena, Santa Marta and Aruba) will be posted on the appropriate boards (i.e. Ports of Call threads).

However note that on Monday (4/12/2010), Enchantment of the Seas was sharing the dock in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica with another RCI ship, Jewel of the Seas (JOTS got there earlier and left earlier than EOTS).

Thanks again, C., for sharing some photos with us!

Limon, Costa Rica - Not just the capital of the Limon province, but also a major industrial hub, massive freighters carry off tons of fruits

to Europe and the United States from the city's port daily [i.e. bananas, pineapples].
