Skywench Posted May 17, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 17, 2010 The funniest complaint letter I've ever read is the one to Continental airlines about seat 29e. The guy goes into funny details and even drew pictures. I don't have a link, but it can still be found on the internet.

dalitos Posted May 17, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 17, 2010 Thanks for posting these, they are both hilarious, I almost chocked a few times trying not to laugh too hard, as I am sitting at work. Here's a direct link to the .pdf for the Continental seat 29E letter: http://msgboard.snopes.com/travel/graphics/seat29e.pdf If I have to pick the funnier one, it was the one to Virgin. Globaliser Posted May 17, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 17, 2010 The Funniest Complaint Letter I ever Read to an Airline http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/4344890/Virgin-the-worlds-best-passenger-complaint-letter.html It's good for a laugh. But remember that this guy ordered a special meal: Indian vegetarian. And that is exactly what he got. No wonder Virgin told him to get lost; it was a complete set-up from start to finish. FanofFlorida Posted May 17, 2010 #8 Share Posted May 17, 2010 I wonder what "award" the food had won? ick.... Vegetarian meal? Why not vegetables? Why does everything have sauce on it these days-

Regardless, the letter is so funny because of the way it's written, not so much if the guy is right or wrong about the food/entretainment level. Exactly, Over on http://www.v-flyer.com we had one of our Indian members go through the whole menu and describe what the food actually was, once you understand that the ingredients are not actually what they appear to be in the picture and you get what they are they dish doesn't seem half as bad. Though to be fair, VS is known for it's food, in general it sucks, though for some strange reason the food in Y and W is often better than offered in J.
