Happy Belated Birthday Legend of the Seas!

Recommended Posts

I'm sorry for being tardy with birthday greetings for Legend of the Seas... but I was on Grandeur enjoying my day at Cozumel. :D

Legend of the Seas made her maiden voyage 15 years ago last Saturday, May 16, 1995! She is the first of the Vision class ships and was built in Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.

She is tied with her sister ship, Splendour of the Seas, for being the smallest ship in the fleet. Yes, she's even smaller than Monarch and Majesty! Legend is the most-traveled ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet, having been based in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, the South Pacific, Alaska, Central America, Caribbean, the Baltic, Mediterranean and the Middle East during her 15 year career at sea.
