I got this email just now from the BV department:

An unfortunate miscommunication occurred between our Bon Voyage department and call centers which led to the dissemination of incorrect information to our reservations agents. To clarify, we have not ceased alcohol sales, either pre-cruise or during the sailing, through Bon Voyage and apologize for any misunderstanding or confusion.

Nope, see the threads saying they are still selling it, was a miscommunication.

OP I think you have to call, you cant even get the prices unless you call.

I know, tried to delete it

is there a limit to the beer that can be ordered?

How much are you willing to pay at bar price per can? That is the only limit.

Beer:

Bud/Bud Light 16 ounce $5.75

Miller/Coors Reg/Lite 12 oz bottle $4.95

Heinekin 12 oz bottle $4.95

Amstel Reg/Lite - $4.95

Michelob Ultra $5.75 16 oz

Corona – 12 oz bottle - $4.95

Fosters – Large 750ML $6.75

Beer is sold as singles. The prices do not differ for a case

Capt Morgan Spiced, Gosling, Appleton VX, Bacardi $40.

FYI, recent reports claim $55/liter for Capt Morgan's.

And to answer before asked -- normal bottle size is 1 liter.

I've heard if the 1L size is not avail they give something else, but on my recent cruise I received 1L bottles of Seagrams 7 and Margaritaville tequila.

That is just sick. I buy it locally for $21 a 1.75 liter bottle at the base exchange.

Yeah, the markup is a lot steeper on certain popular items like Capt Morgans and Malibu.

Still at ~20 shots per liter bottle it's a big savings vs. buying individual drinks at the bar. There's value to no worries of having smuggled stuff found and being without.

I just called BV and wanted to order Rum to make mojitos.

They do not sell Mojito mixers.

Technically, I cannot bring the mixer on the ship, correct?

So, if I want to have the mixer, I need to smuggle it in?

Also, I wanted Tanqueray Gin. They only have Beefeater and Bombay Sapphire. Does anyone know which one is comparable with cost not the issue.

Thank you VERY much!

Are you trying to confuse or convince me with logic?:D

Why not? Mojito is made up of rum, simple sugar, lime juice, mint and club soda. Only the rum is regulated by Carnival.

NOT correct. Non-alcoholic beverages can be brought aboard, up to twelve (no size specified), in your carry-on luggage (which can be a rolling suitcase).

I brought a 6er of Coke and two big bottels of Tonic, no problems. Room service can always supply you with plenty of limes as well :)
