CruisingFamily4 Posted May 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2010 Has this ever happened to anyone else? The Pride out of Baltimore to Carrib was cancelled and changed to Bermuda. To add insult to injury we booked early saver. Are we going to be penalized if we cancel.
spencercoop Posted May 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2010 You should be able to cancel without any penalty.
firefly333 Posted May 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2010 Call ... you mean you dont want to go to Bermuda?? wow, most people would think that was a great change, but call and ask for a exemption if you are sure you want to cancel. sallyb Posted May 21, 2010 #8 Share Posted May 21, 2010 If the Pride is going to Bermuda, I want to go. Much better than Bahamas, since we've been there, done that. Just checked, not til 2011. I'm looking for Pride this year.
NCTribeFan Posted May 21, 2010 #9 Share Posted May 21, 2010 I had booked the 4/17/11 sailing because I KNEW it was going to change to Bermuda and that's where I wanted to go. But I was really waiting for the Glory 10/16/11 to open as sailing from Norfolk would be much easier and the price was considerably less. When I booked Pride, my PVP told me that, unfortunately, I would NOT be locked into the Bahamas price. IOW, if the price for that cabin went up when they changed it to Bermuda, my balance due would increase. I was only locking up the cabin, not the price. He said this policy had changed recently. I had him call me the day the Glory opened (it wasn't on the website yet) and I moved my res.
