Help with 10yr anniversary trip!

Hi folks,

 

So hubby and I are planning our 10 yr anniversary trip with our best friends next year (cant wait!) We are going for 10 days and would *ideally* like a 7 day cruise and a few days at an all inclusive. We've done Explorer & Navigator several times, done the Brillance, done the Freedom. Loved the Freedom! Because we've done the popular islands (Jamaica, St.Thomas, St. Maarten, ect), we're trying to find something a little different, but are leary of smaller RCCL ship based on all the activities we've enjoyed on the bigger ones. Thoughts? Also, what kind of suggestions might you all have for a cruise and stay somewhere?

My suggestion would be a cruise out of San Juan PR since you could do an all-inclusive in the same area and only pay for the flight to one location. There are some really neat itineraries with only 1 day at sea so there is a lot to keep you occupied even if the ship is smaller. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Have you considered Alaska?

It would be very different and it's very romantic and beautiful!

That is a hard one...unless you go out of San Juan there really isn't going to be any all inclusive around...unless you take a cruise somewhere and get off and stay off on one of the islands...

A european cruise leaving out of Venice with a couple of extra days there would be a one time experience!

I'll second sailing out of San Juan. Depending on the time of year, you'll have your choice of either the Adventure or the Serenade. You won't be disappointed with either choice. You'll have a choice of 5 or 6 itineraries. The southern Caribbean routes are gorgeous! You can spend a few days either before or after in San Juan at an AI.

I was looking into San Juan....any good recommendations for all-inclusives there?
