Such sad news to start the day. I truly enjoyed Valerie's posts. She always spoke fairly and had some of the most interesting comments. Our CC family will sorely miss her visits here and onboard. Rest in Peace Valerie.

I was afraid something had happened to Valerie when no one could contact her. I met her on the Yummer's Mexican Riviera cruise in 2008. She was a delightful lady. She will be missed.

Very sorry to hear about Valerie's passing! She's back with her husband, a career United States Naval officer. May they both rest in peace!

I, too, am shocked and saddened by this news. We so enjoyed her company and her wit on our Asia cruise in the fall of '08. She will be missed.
