1 HappyCruiser Posted June 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2010 Depending on where the cabin is located it can be due to the early morning people moving chairs around. If it's not under that section it'll probably be OK.
shepcookie Posted June 7, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2010 Last August on the Crown, we were on Rivera under the edge of Horizon Court and pool. I wouldn't say it was really noisey, but we could hear them moving chairs around late at night. I personally would never stay on that deck again unless I got a really good deal. wizard-of-roz Posted June 7, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 7, 2010 The noise from above is really disturbing if: You like to sleep late You like to take afternoon naps You are disturbed by scraping/grinding sounds above you I would only take one of these cabins if the deal was too good to be true and none of the above bothered me! lovn2liv Posted June 7, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 7, 2010 I think that if you search for Riviera Deck or Riviera Deck Noise, there are many posts from people that have stayed in the inside cabins toward the aft, and the noise wasn't an issue too much. Lots of people on the balconies mentioned there were noise from the pool deck. It's worth checking out more posts on this one. good luck
