San Pedro Taxi

Has anyone taken a taxi lately from San Pedro to LAX? How much did it cost you? I know that Super Shuttle charges $17.00 per person for a total of $34.00 which seems a little expensive.

We have used a private car service - most of the shuttle companies offer something like this. We used Go-Sedan of Prime Time Shuttle. Price was around $80 one-way, and included tax and tip. Priced cabs - remember the meter would be running and traffic could be heavy and held up - many people said it varies from $50 one-way to $90 - again because of the "meter running." That was why we decided to go with the fixed price of a private car service.

 

As an example, many of the San Pedro hotels, such as the Crowne Plaza, quote around $75 for a cab.

 

The airport shuttle at $17 is the cheapest.

We just did it last week and it cost $57 on the meter.

You might also want to get a price from Roadrunner shuttle service.....we use them from our home to get to LAX and their usually cheaper than the others...
