gatorgram Posted June 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Has anyone been on the Riviera Deck on the Legend? I know it is the bottom deck but we needed four OV cabin's and the price was right. So, please tell me what you think. We are booked for April 2011. :D
firefly333 Posted June 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Other than the extra elevator time, the bottom decks are no worse than higher decks and the same exact cabins. Should be quiet.
FloridaGators Posted June 19, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Exact same cabins and you are not actually on the "bottom". Crew cabins are below you, etc.
marshhawk Posted June 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 19, 2010 My friends love that deck, price, noise level, and they say, less movement.:)
H82seaUgo Posted June 19, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Those lower decks only held a stigma prior to having to cool them. And nowadays, with more public decks further down, there is NO reason NOT to book them. One deck up, you have a promenade.
zqvol Posted June 19, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Haven't been on Legend's Riveria deck, but have on other ships. It is a great location, smooth ride and easy to get off. If there is a disadvantage, it is a few deck up to the Lido and the pools.
SkyMaster Posted June 19, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 19, 2010 EXCELLENT choice IMO! Great location as the elevators aren't always full when the door opens! One deck up to the dining room, and Promenade Deck. Smooth, quiet ride. Only caveat IMO, is to avoid the first three or four cabins, as they CAN be noisy from the close proximity to the forward show lounge. If you can get a mid ship cabin, IMO, there's none better!
