This was shot in aperture priority (AV) mode, f6.3. Used ISO400 and this gives me a shutter speed of 1/400s. I usually do not go below 1/800s speed to avoid any camera shake since I am using a 400mm f5.6 lens but I had a tripod with me at that time. (you know like a lot of the young kids have lip piercings) I love cardinals...we had one that attacked the mirrors on our car for weeks.
