tampatoms Posted July 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2010 Alaska NB for 7 days -we have assigned seating, 6p which is good when we are at sea. Day 4 & 5 are evening departures from a port so we thought rather than rushing back we could do speciality. Would we lose our 6p seating for day 6 & 7 ? No, you would still have your assigned table in the dining room. But it would be best to alert your waiter to the fact that you will not be coming to the dining room the night before, just as a courtesy. ;)
paul929207 Posted July 1, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2010 Princess wants you to go to the specialty restaurants - more income for them. You will not lose you table in TD. Be sure to notify your wait staff or table mates.
janina Posted July 1, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2010 No problem. A lot of people miss their dinning at different days. Your seats are your seats.:)

Rare TracieABD Posted July 2, 2010 #6 Share Posted July 2, 2010 We always let our waitstaff know when we will not be there and when we will return!:)
cb at sea Posted July 2, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 2, 2010 It's nice to let them know, if YOU know when you won't be there, but you are under NO obligation to do so...if you decide "last minute" not to come to the dining room, you certainly don't need to go out of your way to notify anyone!
