Assigned dining & speciality dining

Alaska NB for 7 days -we have assigned seating, 6p which is good when we are at sea. Day 4 & 5 are evening departures from a port so we thought rather than rushing back we could do speciality. Would we lose our 6p seating for day 6 & 7 ?

No, you would still have your assigned table in the dining room. But it would be best to alert your waiter to the fact that you will not be coming to the dining room the night before, just as a courtesy. ;)

It's nice to let them know, if YOU know when you won't be there, but you are under NO obligation to do so...if you decide "last minute" not to come to the dining room, you certainly don't need to go out of your way to notify anyone!
