Promanade Cabin Ventilation

Recommended Posts

We will be staying in our first Parmanade Cabin and are wondering what the ventilation is like. Specifically, will it get too warm in the night, making sleeping uncomfortable.

Every room has an individually-controlled air conditioning system. Your room will be the temperature you make it and you can adjust up or down to suit your needs. Don't worry about this. :) Enjoy your cruise.

EDIT: I see you've sailed RCI a lot in the past. This room will be no different than others you've had just because of its location. No worries.

Like I said above, just like being in the other interiors, but you have a view. Window does not open

The A/C was imcreadibly powerful in our PR room on the Freedom. My husband turned it all the way up the first night, and I ended up sleeping in a sweatshirt and fleece pants...not what I was expecting on a summer Caribbean cruise! You should be fine.

Hey Rick - hope you and Denise are doing well!

We just got off the Mariner and we loved our Promenade cabins. Never noticed a ventilation problem, but it is all artificial air (A/C). Not the same as being able to open the balcony door, but similar to any other inside (or outside). Does feel more open than a regular inside as you have light from the Promenade - not to mention the fun you'll have people watching.

Of course, not much difference than the air in the casino or at trivia :)

Which ship are you on? I'm sure you will both have a great time.

Thanks for your replies everyone.

Hi Susan, Nice to see you. We are on the Mariner and thougt we'd try a Promanade cabin. But now are getting a bit worried that it may get to stuffy at night. We like to be able to open the balcony door for fresh air.

As you said, it should be fun to people watch from the window. We just have to remember to close the curtains at night.
