AFT_LOVER Posted July 5, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2010 You will choke with rates from Travel Guard and other insurance companies, but Berkley Insurance who has Princess' insurance for its cruisers has no elderly price. SO I will buy that unless I get a promo rate that includes no Berkley insurance. I also use STA Travel for folks over 35.
Rare Keith1010 Posted July 5, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2010 Many times getting travel insurance on your own is cheaper than that of the cruise line and actually provides more coverage. A good source that provides a good web search engine for policies is insuremytrip.com You put in information about your criuse incuding dates and price and age of travelers and it will provide information on a number of companies and policies and you can compare that with what the cruise line offers. Rare Coral Posted July 5, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2010 Travel Insurance via 3rd party often has better coverage. Check out Access America and Travelex. Check with your agent and see what policies they carry - it may be cheaper then insuremytrip.
