QuickGold Posted July 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2010 Does the Windjammer on Oasis offer sushi? I know you can go to Izumi and get better sushi, but on past RCL cruises, I've been able to go to Windjammer around 6pm or so and they have sushi. Is this the case still? Lauren225 Posted July 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2010 No sushi in the Windjammer, only in Izumi. I really missed that from the other ships.
Evilblah Posted July 6, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2010 On my sailing i could've sworn i had sushi in the windjammer. It wasnt as fancy as the sushi in Izumi, but it was a basic California Roll (i think)
Rare Radio Posted July 7, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2010 I ordered some carry out Sushi in Izumi. . . and ate it in the Windjammer. It was just a few bucks. . . (March 2010) Radio :rolleyes: .
Anthony63 Posted April 29, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 29, 2013 I saw Jade Sushi as an option and was excited about it soand the boardwalk dog house. Well neither is on Oasis. So windjammer for a dog Izumi for sushi. It sucks but not going to get me down.

Langley Cruisers Posted April 30, 2013 #8 Share Posted April 30, 2013 Could anyone tell me if Sushi is served on the Jewel? Yes, there is a complete sushi station and sushi chef right there, very nice. The WJ on Jewel is the finest we've ever had at sea. You will love it. :) . Langley Cruisers Posted April 30, 2013 #10 Share Posted April 30, 2013 Is there an added fee? What kind of rolls did they have? Hi Donna, it was one of the stations in WJ in the evening for dinner, sort of in the middle, I guess. There was always a sushi chef there working away, rolling it up, cutting, arranging. I only ever had one California roll but I recall there being at least 5 choices there. It looked fresh and delicious - I just prefer to spend my carbohydrates elsewhere since I am diabetic. ;)
windjamming Posted April 30, 2013 #11 Share Posted April 30, 2013 Is there an added fee? What kind of rolls did they have? No fee on the Jewel. I recall california rolls, cucumber rolls, as well as nigiri with shrimp, smoked salmon, and egg. They tend to go fast, so keep an eye on what the chef is making! Let'sGo! Posted May 8, 2013 #22 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Cruise ship sushi is worse than supermarket sushi  I kind of have to agree with this statement. I don't consider myself a sushi snob, but the stuff that was in the Windjammer on Serenade reminded me of something you would buy entire trays of a Costco!
