So is ours...I am loving all of these reviews! :)

 

They are awesome, gets me even more excited. You go the week before us.

 

Love those pics of the Conquest coming in, some of the best pics of her I've ever seen

 

I totally agree, wonderful pictures.

 

Sorry, will finish up Sunday, in the morning......my parents are here, so I'm trying to not be totally rude and ignore them.:rolleyes::o

So, I will leave you hanging......did we get our toiletry bag?? Tune in tomorrow to find out.;):)

 

More great review. Enjoy your parents visiting.

After dinner we headed off to the cabin to get the Camp Carnival pre-registration form that I filled out on the internet prior to sailing.

I will tell you that I highly suggest you do this, it saves a whole lot of time when checking your child in. We handed the paper, signed the sign in sheet and we were on our way, while the line of other people were still filling out forms.

 

As for the toiletry bag, no sign of it. So we head to the Pursor's Desk, the first thing they asked me was if I had packed anything that "shouldn't" have been packed. I replied No, not in that bag anyway.:rolleyes:

 

No sign of the bag in what I think was the "naughty" room. They took down the info on the missing bag and it's contents......which I previously mentioned.....toothbrushes/ shaving stuff.

We can live without the shaving stuff, but toothbrushes...NO.:eek:

 

Unfortunately the gift shop was closed by then and the Pursors Desk did not have any toothbrushes.....so.....thank goodness I invested in some Wisp's before we left home, had them in my purse.

If you don't know what a Wisp is, it is a little disposable toothbrush thingy with the toothpaste already in it.

They were a lifesaver for us that night!

So for all you folks with the long packing lists, add a Wisp, cuz you never know!!

 

We went to the Casino Bar and hung out for a while. They had a very good country band playing. The Mickey Utley Band.

They just recently got a record contract with RCA Records and will be releasing a video on CMT and GAC, it's a very good song, Cry Like Memphis. So all you CMT/GAC fans look for it.

 

I didn't stay out too late this night, Mike wanted to hit the Blackjack tables, so I went to Camp Carnival to retrieve my child.

We always take advantage of the late night babysitting, $6 hr from 10pm to 3am. She loves it and it gives us some time to do whatever we want.

 

One of the things that we really LOVED on this cruise was the location of our cabin and the convenience to Camp Carnival. It was so much easier than being all the way AFT and trying to carry a sleeping child all the way across the ship.

I LOVE the Panorama Deck!!!!

 

So Tara and I hit the hay, AWWWWW.....just love those Carnival beds and bedding and the motion of the ocean.

You definetely feel it more on Deck 10 than any other Decks we have been on. We loved it!!

 

I opened our balcony door, turned on my battery operated fan that I had taken onboard with me and we were out like lights.:)

 

Mike made a donation to the Casino this night, he stumbled in around 2am. :rolleyes::p

Love it. I'm reliving already.......so enjoyed meeting you all. Your family is precious! Today is Saturday and all week I have been saying, "this time last week, I was............" but at the same time, it's nice to be home and waking up in my own bed and with my baby neatly tucked in upstairs. I hope you got all of your lawn chores done. It's been raining non stop down here ever since we have been home...........except today and it's nice outside; but I cannot seem to back away from the computer........haha. Send me the details on the cruise you are doing next Feb. or whenever. Chuck and I just might join ya.

I lOVE it that so many from our June 27 Conquest cruise are posting summaries of their trips on the boards. I guess I need to get my act together and also write a trip report. I DID post a review on the member review site.

 

Julie,

Sarina enjoyed playing with Tara. They played 2 or 3 occasions at the pool and of course a little bit at Sunset Beach. I never saw you at SB! Where did you hang out? We had a GREAT day there. Loved the beach area especially and of course the water park.

 

We had a good trip! :)

Hi Crystal!! We had Tara's birthday party today, so have not had a chance to post anymore.

Tomorrow we have to make a mad dash to Amarillo and back....so doubtful I can post more tomorrow.....but I promise on Monday to start again.....AND I have a whole bunch of new pics to go through for posting......Got Irene's and Marcy's today uploaded!!:D

I hope it will be worth waiting for!;):D

We were at the beach and at the pool at Sunset Beach, we were on the back side of the pool behind where the waterslides were.

Tina and I got a massage so were gone for about an hour.:D:p

We loved it, had a great time and it was so nice meeting ya'll!!

I know you're home!! Now get busy on your review!!

LOL!! I am SOOOOO tired though. It was a 12 hour day......we could have drove to Galveston and got on a ship!:rolleyes::p

For those of you who don't know me or Gypsy 2, we have become BFF's. We met on the Crazies board a couple of years ago, and now we are like Sisters. :D

She lives in Borger and she and her hubby and son met us in Amarillo today. They helped us load up my new possessions that I inherited from my Great Aunt.

Thanks for the help, Leslie, Rick and Ricky!

It will probably be tomorrow before I do my next installment......unless I get a burst of energy here in the next few minutes.

Maybe some food porn would be good to leave you with tonight........
