Thanks, Mach! I love SMB, I think it is the prettiest water and best sand....Mike disagrees, he thinks it's Nachi in Coz.:p

When we went to the Royal Palms and got a umbrella and chair the guy at the beach dug the hole for us. He was South America...but when he first started talking I would've told you he was Australia...and yes, he was some good EYE CANDY!!! He also gave us a lesson on how sand is actually made...and no, you really don't want to know!! But let's put it this way...I never want sand in my mouth!!

If you tend to be motion sick, do NOT be the last person to board the tender and get stuck on the top deck all the way in the back.......that makes you the last person to get off too.

I know this because it happened to our sweet Olivia. What made it even worse was we had to wait for the tender in front of us to finish unloading. THEN another tender comes up behind us and kind of stirs the water up a bit.

At this point I look at Olivia and she was becoming green. :(

We told her to just barf off the back of the tender, lord knows we're use to barfers.:p:eek:

She held on and finally got back on the ship. She's a trooper!

We head to Lido for a snack and Sailaway.

I asked Tara if she had a fun day and enjoyed Parasailing....this was her response.

ConquestJune27thtoJuly4th2010188.jpg?t=1279564558

Don't panic, I did use sunscreen on her....she always looks like that after she swims too much. I used a 100 baby block on her!

Nice review. Can't wait until we go back in October.

One thing I want to mention is that Julie is right, Grand Cayman is an expensive place to eat especially Margarittavillle. Next time we go, we are just going to order drinks. We have to have our priorities!:D

There is cheap food to be found in Grand Cayman if you know where to look. The rum cake factory store has these little meat pies for about $1.50 - $2.00. We always grab a couple of those and a few bites of the sample cakes they have out. They have a couple of tables sitting on the front porch where you can sit to eat them.

Julie -- Wonderful review and I am so glad that you and family, and friends...had such a terrific cruise! Shane and Mike are practically twins,.....born in different years!! Tara is a gorgeous child, just like her mother a "few years" before. I can't believe how much she has grown!!Thank you SO MUCH for the time and energy you expended for us, the grateful readers! Lots of folks were lining up to enjoy the waterslide.

Remember one thing, if you don't wear your shoes when your walking up to the waterslide, be prepared to walk really fast or run.....because your feet will get HOT!!

After sailaway, we headed to our cabin to rest and get ready for the evening.

Tonight is our 2nd Formal/Elegant Night.

We all dress up for dinner and do our usual stop off by the Casino Bar......if we can't find "The Girl's", that is usually a good place to start, or any other bar!!! ;)

CruiseIrenesPics275.jpg?t=1279653166

We decided to stop off at a couple different locations for some "cheap" photo ops. Great way to save some money if your cruising on a budget or don't have time to wait in the lines for Carnival's Photo's.

Okay, time for dinner. As usual it was all good. I really need my friend Pam to pop in here, cuz she was the food porn girl.....Oh Pamela, where are you????

Tonight was a Pajama Party for the 2-11 years olds, Elegant Party for the 12-14 years olds and a Stunner Shades Party for the 15-17 year olds.......and of course Slots and Blackjack for the bigger kids!!

Tomorrow is Cozumel, we are going to Nachi Cocom!!!

We were all really looking forward to today, we have been to Nachi Cocom twice before and it has always been such a wonderful time.

We booked our reservation through Island Marketing a couple months prior to our cruise.

It's $49 for Adults, $29 for our son and $12 for our daughter.

You pay a $12 deposit per person to Island Marketing, then pay the balance when you get to Nachi.

After I had made our original reservation, I needed to add two more people, so I just sent them an email and within a few hours they responded back and added our extras with no problems.

Be sure and print off your reservation confirmation and take it with you to Nachi.

We did not take it the first time we went and they were gonna charge us the full price......but they ended up finding our reservation so we got lucky.....so just to be safe.....take it with you.

Also, if you've never been there before, you must have cash for your balance and anything else that you want to do that is extra (massage, snorkeling tour, wave runners etc.)....they do NOT take credit cards.

We got off the ship and walked through the Puerta Maya shopping area to where the taxi's were waiting.

We had 11 people in our group, so we had to take 2 cabs...9 people was the maximum amount they could take in one cab. It came out to about $4 a person (I think)

It's about a 10-15 minute drive to Nachi, once there you are greeted by, none other than.....a photographer!

It's okay though, how can you say no to pics like these

Once inside you are greeted by the money taker, if you have a bigger group I highly recommend one person be your money collector before you get there, will make it so much easier....especially since these ladies don't speak very good English.

They will give everyone an armband, then you are escorted out to the beach area where they have lounge chairs and Palapa's (umbrellas).

ConquestJune27thtoJuly4th2010255.jpg?t=1279657512

CruiseIrenesPics306.jpg?t=1279657564

We had plenty of chairs for everyone, not that we spent much time in them....too busy playing.

If you don't want to carry a towel from the ship, they will rent a towel to you for $6. We always rent, much easier than toting those heavy $22 Carnival towels around.

As soon as they got us set up on the beach, they were bringing us our first of many drinks!! Remember, this is All Inclusive......which in Layman's Terms translates to ALL YOU CAN DRINK!!!!!

I believe it was 11 when they started serving food. You get an Appetizer, Entree' and Dessert.......except for the kids, they only get an Entree'.

It was no big deal for us, there was PLENTY of food to go around.

You don't have to order all at once either, if you want your Appetizer, then an hour later the Entree', that is fine.

You can also eat on the beach, or at the pool, or in the dining area.....it's your choice.

The last time we were there they let us eat at the swim up bar, but not this time. Maybe because last time there wasn't very many people there.

There still wasn't very many there this time either, just more than last.

Thats one of the things that we really like about Nachi, it is never crowded. They only take 100 people, so you know you will never have more than that.

Am I correct in saying that its not all you can eat, just all you can drink?

As soon as you get there you will have someone coming up to you letting you know what all the "extra's" are.

Our son wanted to do the Wave Runner again but the guy told him he was not old enough.

So he and Mike went over to the stand to see what else he might want to do.

Well, after talking to the guy running the rentals he decided it would be okay for Shane to ride......but he gave him a stern warning....if he saw him do one thing stupid he would make him get off right then and he would not get his money back.

Shane went out for 45 minutes, it was $65 and got a pat on the back for being a good boy when he got back. :p:D That's my boy!!

A little later on Shane, David and Pam went on the Snorkeling Tour. It was almost two hours and was $38 per person.

Shane had done this last year when we were there and he said they went to a different area this time.

The water had been churned up from Hurricane Alex going through there, so they had to go out further.

Right up on the beach you could tell the water had been churned up, not as clear as it normally is....but still pretty and great sand.

You can pre-book the "extra's" through Island Marketing if you want to, we just choose not too....less hassle just in case you miss your port.

My next segment is gonna be quite a few pics from Nachi.......a big group of my Crazies friends will be there in Sept (without me:() so hope you enjoy them.

That would be correct, but the portions are pretty big so don't think anyone will go away hungry.

What we did was try to order different stuff and then everyone could share it.

Hi Julie!

I'm here, just enjoying every minute of your review.

I love that picture of you and I on the 1st formal night in our purple.

You'll have to send that one to me.

Tell Marcy, Heather and Irene I'm a little miffed that they didn't

bring that nice looking hunk of man from the parasailing excursion

back for us to play with, I totally would have done it for them!:D

Hey, did you get my phone message the other day?

Tell Tara that I got her drawing and I absolutely LOVE it!

I've been showing it off to everybody!

Love You Guys!!!

~Pam
