Cabins QV and QM2

Recommended Posts

Hi We have been allocated cabins 5182 on QV and 6109 on QM2 on our partial world cruise next year. Does anybody have any info or photographs please?:)

Both cabins are balcony cabins and are very similar to each other, although the one on the QV has a glass panel balcony while the balcony on the QM2 is an in-hull one. There are photos and virtual tours on Cunard's website.

We were in 4075 on the QM2. I loved the in-hull balcony...more privacy and bigger than a typical balcony. The room itself is very SMALL. The photos are deceiving. My sis had 6002 and it was huge... I was amazed at the difference in size between her ocean-view and my balcony cabin!!

6002 is a disabled cabin. That's why it's so big and not really a typical sized cabin.

I wouldn't say balcony cabins are small. I think they are a good size but I agree about the actual in-hull balconies.

There are pictures of QM2 "Ocean View" (C grade) and "Sheltered Balcony" (B grade) cabins via the link below. None were taken with an ultra wide angle lens to make the cabins look bigger than reality, they are as seen in the pictures. I've enjoyed both.

Hope they help.

Thanks again to all who responded to this link. I hope we have made the right choice (within our budget). To me the cabins look lovely and it's now less than six months before we sample them. Woo! Hoo!:)
