Whats around the port carnival docks at

Is the port fenced off like some other ports, is there a bar shops etc. We are there 10hrs & the more i read the less i feel like getting off, but we will :)

Carnival usually docks at Havensight. There are a number of shops, bars, restaurants, etc. in the area. You can walk across the street and take the tram up to Paradise Point.

 

You could also take a taxi to one of the beautiful beaches on the island!;)

While the tragic shooting is still on everyone's minds, I can't implore you enough to rest your fears and have a great time in beautiful St. Thomas. Violence is everywhere - we must take care but we mustn't become prisoners to our fears.

 

Magens Bay is beautiful. An Island tour with a stop at the Great House is beautiful. I highly recommend this amazing port of call. :)

^ Yes, if you dock at Havensight, there is good shopping there (I mean, more shopping - more stores). You can walk to the local KMart if you want (all the crew do this - just follow the line! LOL). If you dock at Crown Bay, not so much choice.
