15 rccll cruises ( have boon on freedom ) so i know it like liberty

anyone been on that vs soltice. We have never been on any celebrity ship

The entertainment was much better on the Solstice, but little to do after the main show most nights.

Please read my reviews of each

Been on both, found the entertainment better on Liberty. Solstice had better service ( nicer towels, more pool chairs, etc).

I missed the skating rink, I missed the promenade, I missed being able to walk to the bow of the ship.

Solstice had better interactive system and better internet.

Have sailed both ships. While Solstice is absolutely beautiful (loaded with fine art and sculpture, interesting decor), I find the Liberty to be much more lively, most especially at night.

I did enjoy Solstice's lawn and the glass blowing demos, but that doesn't compare with the Flow Rider and ice skating rink of Liberty. Also, I don't think the entertainment on Solstice is better than that of Liberty, it is just different. But I do confess that entertainment is a matter of taste.

Oh, Liberty has a fabulous lounge for Diamond and Diamond Plus members. It is large, comfortable and has a fabulous view.

I believe the OP can have a very nice cruise on either ship. I loved that Solstice does not allow smoking on balconies, but that may be a major disadvantage to other cruisers. Liberty does allow smoking on balconies. So the OP may take that into consideration as a plus or minus, depending on their preferences.
