Hairdryer wattage on Carnival Elation

We are sailing on the Elation in just 2 short weeks for our first cruise. I thought that I read on here that there was a wattage limitation for hairdryers brought on board (there are none in the cabins). However, I cannot find that information on the Carnival website, and I also cannot find low wattage hair dryers. So, what's the story?? :confused:

I always bring my normal, high-wattage dryer....anything lower, I might as well use what the ship offers!

Except the OP in going on Elation, which doesn't offer a dryer except in suites. EM

It is always a good idea to having a dual-voltage hairdryer with you whenever you leave the country. Many of them automatically switch between 110 and 240.
