we are in an inside(on Empress deck), and offered a balcony for $150 pp,($300 total), but, turned it down. We've had balconies before, and don't use it much. Also, this is just a 5 day cruise.

You will love the location of your cabin. $ 300 will pay your grats and leave $200 for drinks and pictures. Enjoy your cruise. I LOVE that ship.

We paid $752 total for our inside guarantee which ended up being a 4E(I think). I can't remember how much a balcony was when we booked, but, I do think it was more than $1052, but, we have no regrets in turning it down.
