Taxi in Rome

Does anyone know how much it costs for a taxi from FCO to a hotel in the middle of Rome? Thanks

I am not sure the price of a taxi but hopefully someone will know.

We have used Romecabs a couple of times and they are excellent and the price is very reasonable. www.romecabs.com They will be waiting for you outside arrivals with your name on a card. The advantage of a private transfer over a cab is that the price does not increase if you get stuck in traffic.

In Rome, where the taxi fare from the airport into the city is fixed by the government, the amount of time or traffic does not impact what you pay for a taxi ride either.
