Drag a Deck site

Recommended Posts

Found a real neat site that allows you to take any cruise ship... deck by deck and drag and drop it... it becomes see-thru so that you can view what will be right above or below the deck you have a cabin on...

Hope others like the site as much as I did...:D

Wow! Thank you for sharing this - taking our first cruise in 7 weeks and you have put my last fears to rest. Everyone should check this out

Thanks for the link! I've been wondering where exactly under the main pool deck our JS will be. Now I know. I'm hoping we won't hear the pool staff dragging chairs around early in the morning, as others have. I think we are close enough to the area (wall, walkthrough) that seperates the main pool from the solarium pool.

When you pay a small onetime fee, you can find actual square footage, floor plans, pictures of the cabin/ stateroom. You can also get paid for sending in pictures of the cabin if they use your photo. I have been using this website for awhile. The drag a deck is a fairly new feature.

Looks like you have to pay and it's the same deck plan as on the cruise companies websites.

Hi,

You don't have to pay.

Top right ofthe screen if you click on Royal Caribbean it gives you the list of the ships. Select the ship. On the bottom left of the screen is a tiny ship. To the right is something that looks like a paper clip. If you click that it says drag decks. You then get all the decks side by side. You can then select your deck and drag it over the others to see what is above and below.

Very cool.

I also like the link that shows you where the ship currently is.

Thanks v much Cruisedeacon.

Something wasn't working right, when I dragged the Deck over another one, it hid the other deck. Great site though. Will try it again.

Drag it over, but don't release the mouse button. The top or dragged deck will remain transparent so you will see both decks. Releasing the mouse buttom will remove the transparency, but it can be returned by simply pressing the button again.

One caution.... do not assume the side by side plans line up as they are. Use something like the Centrum area or elevators that are common to all decks to coordinate position instead of just moving straight to the side. Otherwise you can get distorted results and not show what you are really over or under.

Very useful. I see that one of my brothers' cabin is directly over the casino. I hope it is more sound proof than ours was on HALS's Veendam. Every night until 1-2am every few minutes we could clearly hear...

"WHEEEEEL OOOOOFFF FOOOOORTUUUUNE!!!!"
