Hey don't worry about the scattered thunder storms today in Miami, we get them continuously around this time sometimes- no biggie! The best thing about these storms is that afterward the sunsets are spectacular (get your camera ready when you are out to sea! I will most likely see your ship depart tomorrow too since I am in the area! Bon Voyage!

How are the cockroaches at the Sofitel these days?? When we stayed there in 2007 prior to a Pearl cruise we literally had to kill two very large cockroaches in the morning before we could use the bathroom!! NCL arranged that booking for us - never again!!!

Oops, just booked the Sofitel for one night post cruise!!! Hope someone who has been there more recently can be more encouraging. Thought all we had to worry about was bed bugs, now cockroaches as well. Perhaps we should just sit up all night in the airport (lol).

They are from the same family...but they are different. The palmettos are 5 times the size of a regular cockroach...and they grow wings and fly in the summertime!
