Transfering Booking From Princess To TA

If you book directly through Princess and then find a lower price on another website can you transfer the booking, or would you have to cancel and rebook?

A short note faxed to Princess with your booking number and a sentence saying you would like the XXXX agency to take over your booking. ;)

Basically, you have 2 options! You can write them and tell them your transferring to T/A.Or,you can cancel, and simply let T/A rebook!End result is the same.

If you have not yet paid in full...all above posters options apply. If you HAVE paid in full, even before final payment is due (if you are like me and have saved ahead of time and want to get it over with)...then you must cancel and re-book, which is not hard at all, I have done it and only takes about 15 minutes.

We did this for our cruise in February 2011. The TA sent us a form to sign. We returned it to her and then she looked after contacting Princess. We didn't want to lose the cabin we originally booked and she said it wasn't a problem transfering it.
