Distance from Jacksonville, FL airport to Carnival port

We are looking into a Bermuda cruise from Jacksonville, FL on Carnival in May and was wondering how far away is the Jacksonville Airport to the port.

A guess of what a taxi would cost for 4 people and tons of luggage :-) would also be appreciated.

Hi:) Carnival is going to be sailing from here to Bermuda??? When is this starting?

The airport is about 13 miles from the port.

Yes, I don't know what I was thinking. I meant the Bahamas. Sorry for the confusion.

Jacksonville's cruise port is out away from town a ways but closer to the airport than to the downtown area. It has only been there for 2 years, we were on the second cruise to leave from there. We live in Florida so we drove there so I don't know what taxi fare would be to get there but once you do get there, there is nothing to do but get on your ship.
