asctony Posted February 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2005 This is just a suggestion. Many times people go completely off topic within a Thread. It would be much easier to post a new thread than get many different topics under one thread. This would allow people to see and focus on a specific topic/subject and not have to read other subjects that are not topic related. Happy Cruising! derf5585 Posted February 16, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2005 Many times people go completely off topic within a Thread. I know I am guilty of this. I just can't help myself (and increases my post count). When a thread is starting to drag it is easier to post something remotly on or off topic, which is better than using a "BUMP". Northender Posted February 16, 2005 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2005 I agree I am too guilty of this dreaded off topic stuff. Sometimes is makes for much better reading don't you think :) Let me tell you about my grandson

Druke I Posted February 16, 2005 #11 Share Posted February 16, 2005 While I agree that we should try to stick with the thread topic - some of the off topic tangents are not only interesting, but often humorous.

Cruisin' Chick Posted February 16, 2005 #14 Share Posted February 16, 2005 I guess op was serious. Here's one thing I would like see: less ragging on people who start a thread that might have been covered three weeks ago (when that thread is now on page 23). Let's just remember some CCers are new or might have missed a thread (some of us aren't online everyday). Now it's time for our Canadian friends to weigh in with thoughts about the hockey season. Both towns up on the Iron Range and are always that cold...they must sit in a valley or something. And forget the pitchers and catchers...the Hockey Hall of Fame is in Eveleth, MN (also on the Iron Range). We live, breathe and die hockey in MN just like our Canadian neighbors!
