Host Caroline Posted September 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Not sure what cruise line you are on (NCL again?) but yes, pool will be open on any I know of.. Not an especially stormy time of year so most sailings should be fairly calm.. sea temp will be chilly though for snorkeling etc. in Bermuda
PelicanLvr Posted September 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2010 Weather in Bermuda in April can be "hit or miss". Summer is better!

Don't expect Bahamas weather in mid April for mid April Bermuda. It will be like South Carolina. It will likely be too chilly to enjoy the pool or outside deck on the ship during the crossing to Bermuda or the water at the Bermuda beaches. MarlboroBell Posted September 25, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2010 We did NY-Bermuda in mid-April this year (on Explorer of the Seas). It was perfectly pleasant but a little cold at times. We're not great pool/beach people so I can't speak to the water temperatures, but a lot of people were in the pools and the sea, so it can't have been that bad. Crossing was pretty smooth, although there were a couple of times they closed some of the outer decks due to higher winds. I'd recommend it! Sure, summer is hotter, but it's very much manageable.
